Our story

From one camera to a full studio

ShootSpace started in 2014 with a single product and a lot of obsession. A decade on, we’re a fully-equipped photography and film studio at Bristol’s Paintworks — and a tight four-person team covering stills, retouching and motion. Small enough to care about every frame; equipped and staffed like an agency.

The space

A studio kitted for anything

Nine by eight metres of controlled shooting space with coloramas and full blackout, medium-format capture, a deep lighting rig and an in-house set-building bench — plus free parking and proper coffee.

It’s the kind of room where the difficult shots get solved. Have a look around before you visit.

How we work

The same hands, start to finish

One team, end to end

The people who quote your job are the ones who shoot, retouch and deliver it.

Consistency, obsessively

Colour-true, repeatable results across hundreds of products.

Difficult materials

Glass, liquid, metal, gloss — the tricky stuff is our speciality.

No-nonsense quotes

Tell us what you’re shooting and we come back within the hour.

The team

Four people, every discipline covered

Jonny on creative direction, Tom on camera and styling, Lucy on retouching and Joe on film. That’s the whole team — and that’s the point. You always deal with the people doing the work.
